Vivian Lam
Barrister-at-law, Selwyn Yu SC’s Chambers
After obtaining her LLB at Keele University in 2009, Vivian attained her LLM from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010 and her PCLL at the University of Hong Kong in 2012. She started her practice as a barrister in 2013.
Vivian’s main practice is civil litigation, focusing in matrimonial and land dispute cases. She has also been instructed in compulsory sale for redevelopment cases and rural representative election related matters.
She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Criminal Procedure
Amanda Li
Barrister-at-law, Wong Man Kit S.C.’S Chambers
Amanda practises in all areas of criminal law, ranging from serious traffic offences to complex general crimes. She specialises in defending money laundering and complexed commercial charges. Amanda appears as a leading junior, a led junior or alone, defending high-profile individuals across all court levels including the Court of Final Appeal. Amanda is regularly instructed by the Department of Justice to prosecute select cases in the District Court. In 2009, Amanda served as a Deputy Special Magistrate.
She was a part-time Lecturer in “Criminal Procedure” at the University of Hong Kong (Bachelor of Laws programme, Fall 2016). She was also a trainer for officers of the Labour Department on investigation, prosecution, and court procedures, and for adjudicators presiding over the Minor Employment Claims Adjudication Board (2014, 2019, 2021–2023).
